Our Mission
Seoul Christian School exists to provide nurture and admonition (Eph. 6:4) to young people to train themto be like the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:24). Accomplishing this goal involves teachers leading students in the younger grades to accept Christ as Savior. It also involves teachers leading students to dedicate their lives to God's will in junior and senior high school. By thoroughly integrating Biblical truths into all subject areas, faculty members teacher students to apply growth beyond salvation. The building of Christian charaacter according to the pattern of growth seen in Jesus Himself is emphasized at SCS. "Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52). "Wisdom" is intellectual growth; "stature" refers to physical growth; "favor with...man" describes social growth.
True education conforms to the ideal set forth in Scripture, and it involves the total development of the born-again believer. For this reason SCS seeks to enroll born-again applicants who desire to attend SCS in grades 7-12. Though evangelism may occur, especially during the younger years, SCS exists to provide training (in spiritual, academic, physical, and social arenas) for Christian young people, thereby extending the influence of the Christian home.
